Please Join GV at the Red Winged Leadership Award Ceremony

Global Visionaries proudly announces that Executive Director, Chris Fontana, has been selected as a finalist for the 2011 Red Winged Leadership Award. This Award, given by Seattle University’s Albers School of Business and Economics, is intended to “honor leaders committed to embracing the unique intersection where leadership, business acumen, and social impact overlap.”

“Seattle University’s recognition of Chris, through his nomination for the Red Winged Leadership Award, gives evidence of the contribution the organization he is leading is making in our communities, both here and abroad,” said Don Schlosser, president of the GV Board of Directors.

We encourage you to attend the free event, in recognition and support of both Chris Fontana and his fellow nominees, who have dedicated their time and work to bettering our community.

The ceremony will be held on May 12th, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Seattle University’s Campion Hall. After a short welcome, the award ceremony will begin at which each finalist will be honored for their contributions and commitment to social justice. A panel of jurors will then select a first, second, and third place winner.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony and will include music, appetizers, wine, and networking.
